Craft Shops:

Julia Linstead Glass

Julia Linstead - Glass Worker of unique hand-blown crystal ware

Unique hand-blown 24% lead crystal bowls and platters. Julia’s original patterns are hand drawn, often from studies of Borders flora and fauna, and then engraved into the colourful crystalware using a subtle and delicate sandblasting technique. No two pieces are ever identical, and commissions are welcomed.

Beyond Trees

John Davidson - Woodcarving

John at the Beyond Trees studio uses a range of different woods to carve individual pieces. Inspiration for the carvings derive predominantly from the human figure in motion, but it is the wood itself that dictates the form of any finished article. Each carving is therefore unique. Visitors to the studio are welcome throughout the year
