The Museum

The Hirsel Museum is an insight of how people lived and worked in the past and to some degree at the present.

It is based on a number of individual small exhibits in what were originally stables and loose boxes at the old Homestead. Presently the exhibits include fishing, a blacksmith shop, forestry, wash house and general natural history.

Additionally, there is a section dealing with archeology which adjoins a visitor information leaflet room, informing visitors of other local attractions within the area.
