Walk at Hirsel
Crooks Walk
A pleasant walk of about one mile in length on tarmacadam all the way, which makes it very suitable for the less abled.
The walk goes north along the main drive with the Lake on the left hand side. At the northeast corner of the lake the drive divides leaving a choice of going right or left in a circle passing the Hirsel House, the family home of the Homes since 1611 then pass the fine red sandstone Stable Building making your way down to the island in front of the old laundry and then back south to the car park at the start point.
